The University of Nottingham is ranked third in BBSRC funding after Cambridge and Manchester taking over the Universities of Edinburgh and Oxford.
Professor Melanie Welham, Chief Executive of BBSRC has noted Nottingham’s brilliant performance in last year during a visit to the University and has praised its hard work through this.
Nottingham has maintained 28% success rate in grant applications and has led on 83 grants.
